Legalizations you might need AFTER a sworn translation
It is important to point out that the legalization done by CTPCBA (Sworn Translators' Association of the City of Buenos Aires) is INDEPENDENT from the translation itself: the one that carries out the procedure and gets the fee is the CTPCBA, and not the translator.

Clients themselves may take the translation to be legalized to the headquarters of CTPCBA located at Av. Corrientes 1834 (corner with Av. Callao), Buenos Aires (see map below), from Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 6pm. The procedure takes approximately 20 minutes, which of course will depend on how many people you have before you.
If for some reason you would like that I did this procedure for you, that is perfectly possible. Since doing it means that I have to use at least one hour of my time and getting to the offices of the CTPCBA, I have to charge extra for this service. Also, I will need to have the money that the CTPCBA charges for the legalization of every document in advance and the name that should appear on the invoice that the CTPCBA will issue.
Having this procedure done will delay the delivery of the translation 1 or 2 days.

Only in the case of sworn translations (those which must be submitted to those bodies that so request them,) it might be necessary that the signature of the sworn or certified translator be legalized by the CTPCBA (Sworn Translators' Association of the City of Buenos Aires / Colegio de Traductores Públicos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires). Enquire with the entity before which your translated document must be submitted if this legalization is necessary or not.

As informed by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship (Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y Culto -aka Cancillería Argentina-) in its website: "if the documentation to be submitted abroad is required in a foreign language, after being legalized or apostilled by this Ministry it should be accompanied by a translation effected by a Sworn Translator y certified by the Translators' Association. Having both requirements been complied with, it is suggested that the sworn translation and its certification by the Sworn Translators' Association be also intervened with a legalization or an apostille, as the case may be".
